Our certified mold detection dog, Bacon, is trained to identify odors associated with mold growth and microbial volatile organic compounds. Our inspections are designed to help identify areas of concern without unnecessary drilling, damage, or invasive testing.

Inspection Results

Following an inspection, clients receive a detailed report with photographs and information identifying areas where mold was detected. This information can be provided to a qualified remediation professional to help determine the appropriate next steps.

Important Limitations

A mold dog inspection identifies areas associated with mold odor but does not determine the specific species of mold. Laboratory testing may be required for species identification.

Our inspection is not a substitute for professional mold remediation, structural repairs, medical advice, or laboratory analysis when those services are required.

Access to Property

Clients are responsible for ensuring that Sunshine Sniffers has reasonable access to the areas scheduled for inspection. Pets should be kept away from the inspection area while the inspection is being performed.

Client Responsibility

Clients should provide accurate information about known leaks, water damage, previous remediation, or other conditions that may assist with the inspection.
